Through clear demonstrations, guided practice, solfege work, and short reading drills, you’ll learn how to understand the rhythm and pitch patterns on the page and turn them into accurate, musical singing.

Identify and sing notes on the staff using solfege
Hear intervals before you sing them
Quickly locate do in any key
Combine rhythm and pitch to read short melodies accurately
Develop sight-singing strategies you can use for life
By the end of the four weeks, you’ll be able to sight-read simple melodies on your own and you’ll finally feel comfortable using written music instead of guessing.
This course is welcoming to beginners and to singers who want to strengthen their musicianship in a friendly, supportive environment.
